FREE COMPUTER ANALYSIS

This service is absolutely free and is offered at no obligation to you.  It involves a few steps and you will have to download a small file, which is located on this page.   Please follow the steps, as outlined below, to have your system analyzed.

1.  Read this paragraph completely before opening instructions document.  Open instructions document and print the document.  When prompted to save or open file, click on "Open" to load file.  Once printed, you can close out that window.

2.  Download Belarc Advisor. 

A screen will pop up asking you to either run/open or save this file.  You will want to either run or open this file.  You will also want to "Run" any subsequent windows that open up.  The file will install to your system and then take an inventory of your hardware and any programs that are currently running.  This program will not give out any of your personal data and is completely safe.

To download Belarc Advisor, click on the link below.  When the page opens up, click on download.  When prompted, click on "Open" to download and run the file.

You will see, from the report that opens up in your browser, that it is only giving information regarding the hardware and software, as well as programs that are running at the time that the report was generated.  This is the exact report that you will be emailing to me.

This report will open up in a website window.

2.  With the report on the screen, go to your file menu, at the top of the screen, and click on "Save As".  Make sure that the file is being saved to your "My Documents" directory (it should by default) and it will be named "Belarc Advisor Current Profile".  Once the file has been saved, you can close out the Belarc window and follow the next steps.

3.  Email the report to me by creating a new email message.  Please include your name, address and telephone number.  Attach the file "Belarc Advisor Current Profile" (found in your "My Documents" folder) and send it along to me.  If you do not know how to attach a file, then do the following:

A.  Using Windows Explorer, go to the directory "My Document".  Double-click "Belarc Advisor Current Profile".  The file will, once again, open up in a web page. 

B.  Place your cursor over the first word, press and hold your left mouse button and drag it down until all of the text is highlighted.  At this point, you can let go of the left mouse button.

C.  Hold down the <ctrl> key and, while holding it down, hit the 'C' key once.

D.  Return to the open email and place the cursor after your telephone number.  Hit <enter> 2 times to open up some space and, with the cursor at the beginning of the next line, hold down the <ctrl> key and, while holding it down, hit the 'V' key once.  All of the text from the analysis will be placed in the email.

E.  Send the email

Obviously, attaching the file will be much easier than using this method, but either method will work.  I will review the report and contact you with my analysis within a day or so.
